Juventus have confirmed Arturo Vidal will attend their pre-season tour.
The Chilean midfielder has been strongly linked with Manchester United, but his selection will severely hamper their chances of trying to push a deal over the line.
The midfielder will fly out to Indonesia tonight, where he is expected to take part in a pre-season friendly in Jakarta on August 6.
Juventus also travel to Australia, with their final game in Singapore on July 16, the first game of the Premier League season.
For United, their efforts to sign him could drag on until deadline day, but teammate Giorgio Chiellini says he does not expect Vidal to leave.
He told TuttoJuve: “Vidal, I am convinced that in the end will stay with us and will be an important player in this season.”
The Italian international clearly wants his teammate to stick around, and now he is back engrossed in preparation for the new Serie A season, United’s task appears a whole lot more difficult.
