Tiger Woods is one of the two greatest golfers of all time and in many fans’ eyes, he is the best.
Woods’ incredible career saw him win a record-equalling 82 PGA Tour titles, including 15 major championships.
The 49-year-old’s impact on the game transcended the sport and he is the reason why so many PGA Tour players earn the kind of money they do in this day and age.
Woods is currently out of action after undergoing back surgery for the seventh time and it remains unclear as to whether he will ever play competitively on the PGA Tour again.
However, one thing every golf fan has learned throughout the years is to never write off Tiger Woods.
He incomprehensibly came back to win The Masters in 2019 just two years after he underwent spinal fusion surgery.
As golf fans, we expect so much from Woods that we sometimes forget the genuine gravity of that particular achievement at Augusta National.
Justin Timberlake revealed what Tiger Woods wanted his children to see him do
Woods has received praise from all corners of the golfing world for his tremendous achievements throughout his career to date.
However, after he won The Masters for the fifth time in 2019, it was Justin Timberlake who led the well-wishes.
Timberlake sent a tribute to the man who many regard as the best to ever swing a golf club.

During his column for Time Magazine, the former N-Sync lead singer said: “Last year, Tiger Woods and I spent time together, just the two of us, talking about being fathers. We discussed how we want our children to see us and how you balance your dedication to them with competitive drive. I told him about how my son, who just turned 4, has started to realize what I do. We bonded over the fact that we wanted our children to watch us at our best. Tiger told me that he hoped his children, who are 11 and 10, would one day see him win a major.
“On April 14 in Augusta, Ga., they did just that when Tiger won his 15th career major—and first in 11 years—capping arguably the greatest comeback in sports history. What a dream come true. For Tiger. For all of us.
“Over the past few years, Tiger rehabbed rigorously from all the surgeries, and returned to the top of the game. While pundits doubted he’d ever win again, Tiger’s commitment never wavered. The thing we don’t always appreciate is the patience. Tiger spent countless hours in the gym, and on the golf course, with a singular goal in mind. All the work he did when people weren’t watching allowed him to hug his children on the same hallowed ground he hugged his father 22 years ago, amid all the adulation, a Masters champion once again.“
How wonderfully well put that was from Timberlake.
Can Tiger Woods still reach the magical 83 number?
What a thrill it must have been for Woods’ two children to see their father win a major for the first time in their lives.
Sam, Woods’ oldest child, was just a one-year-old baby when her father won the 14th major of his career while his second child, Charlie, wasn’t even born at the time.
We all know how ambitious Woods is.
In his mind, he will still believe that he has what it takes to win another PGA Tour event.
And what better way could there possibly be to cap off his remarkable career than by winning a record 83rd tournament on the PGA Tour?
However, it has to be said that his body may well not cooperate with him. Even if it doesn’t, Woods will walk away from the game with an unrivalled résumé in almost every single department.
