Some Leeds United fans on social media are over the moon after seeing Rodrigo has been handed a second chance to get a call-up to the Spain squad.
Sadly, Sergio Busquets is a doubt for the tournament after he tested positive for covid, and while it’s awful to hear the news about Busquets, Spain have had to make alternative arrangements, which has led to an opportunity for Rodrigo.
As you can imagine, Leeds fans are very pleased that their player has been chosen as one of the options, with many claiming that he deserves the shot.
Many supporters actually felt that he deserved to be in the squad the first-time around, and after his incredible final month in the Premier League, we have to agree.
Whether or not Rodrigo is actually called up to the final squad remains to be seen, but the fact that he has the chance to prove himself to Luis Enrique is great news, and Leeds fans are very happy to hear this.
