Gary Neville was left stunned by Raphinha’s work-rate for Leeds United at the weekend, as per his comments on Monday Night Football, which was broadcast by Sky Sports.
Leeds were beaten 6-2 at Old Trafford, but Neville could only find complimentary words to say about the Whites.
And he felt that Raphinha’s movement in the last minute was simply incredible.
With the game out of Leeds grasp, Raphinha didn’t just settle with the defeat and rest on his laurels.
Instead, when Illan Meslier picked up the ball in the closing stages, he sprinted out to the right flank and set up a counter attack.
Raphinha then put in a great ball, but Leeds missed the chance.
And Neville felt that the lung-busting run from the summer signing was absolutely brilliant.
“This just sums Leeds up. Raphinha, who has played 90 minutes in the match, I’ve never seen a team run as much from minute one to minute 90,” he said.
“They are incredible. Just watch Raphinha.

“What would teams ordinarily do? You’d see teams demoralise, keeping their shapes, but Raphinha is here sprinting out to the right-wing. From here they should make it 6-3.”
Leeds could actually have scored more goals of their own on Sunday if they had been more clinical, but their defensive performance let them down.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were too easily cut open, and they will be wanting to tighten up at the back in the coming weeks, as they have now conceded more goals than any other Premier League side.
