Leeds United fans are concerned about Diego Llorente was ruled out of international duty for Spain.
The severity of the injury to the Leeds central defender is not yet clear, but he will not feature again for Spain over the coming week.
The news comes as a major blow to Leeds, as Llorente proved his talent against Portugal early on in the international break.
Llorente was in fine form as Spain picked up a clean sheet against the reigning European champions.
But there now has to be some concern over the towering centre-back’s availability at the weekend.
And many Leeds fans are frustrated at the latest injury update from the Spanish national side.
Llorente’s injury problem comes as a bigger blow, as Leeds also could be without Liam Cooper.
If Llorente and Cooper both miss out, Leeds’ central defensive options look very limited, with Robin Koch their only real natural in the position who is definitely available.
Marcelo Bielsa could, therefore, be forced to start with Pascal Struijk or Luke Ayling in the heart of his side’s defence against Wolves.
