Leeds United are being linked with Ben Gibson.

Leeds United are reportedly keen on signing centre-back Ben Gibson.
The Northern Echo report Leeds are one of the sides monitoring the Burnley defender.
Gibson signed with Burnley a year ago from Middlesbrough, but has failed to establish himself.
Managing to land Gibson would be a tremendous move by Leeds, highlighted by Middlesbrough’s sky high valuation of him just two years ago.
The Express reported Boro were seeking as much as £30 million for Gibson amid interest from Chelsea.

This was a fee the Blues baulked at, and they will feel they got the decision right.
Nonetheless it shows how highly regarded Gibson was by his old side.
Last summer Burnley spent £15 million to sign Gibson, a club record fee.
Leeds would need to get near to this to persuade the Clarets to sell.
Gibson may also need to be persuaded to drop down to the Championship again.
It won’t be easy, but if Leeds are able to get a deal done, it would be a terrific upgrade.
