Scott Minto has criticised Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on talkSPORT (1:32pm, November 6, 2022) for failing to score in the second half against Graham Potter’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Graham Potter’s Chelsea took on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at home in the Premier League today.
Brazilian defender Gabriel scored for the Gunners in the 63rd minute of the London derby.
Norway international attacking midfielder Odegaard had a great chance to make it 2-0 in the 76th minute.
Arsenal broke with pace, with former Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus leading the charge.
Jesus slipped the ball to the right for former Real Madrid player Odegaard.
The £30 million star (Sky Sports) faced up with Trevoh Chalobah, cut the ball onto his left foot, and fired over Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

Had Odegaard shot first time, he could have probably scored.
Former Chelsea player Scott Minto was following the match for talkSPORT, and he was disappointed with Odegaard’s effort.
Scott Minto on Martin Odegaard for Arsenal v Chelsea
Minto said: “What is Martin Odegaard doing? Just trust your right foot. You have a wand of a left foot, we know, it’s not a strong right side, but you have got to take that touch and have a shot. Edouard Mendy had already come out.”
Now, while Martin Odegaard should have done better with his effort against Chelsea, his miss did not matter in the end.
Arsenal won the London derby against Chelsea 1-0.
And they remain at the top of the Premier League table for now.
Manchester City are still the best and strongest team in England, but there is no doubt that Arsenal are now real contenders for the Premier League title.
