Ian Poveda and Jermaine Beckford have had an exciting exchange on social media after the young Leeds United winger finally returned from injury.
The ex-Man City ace played his first Premier League game since January on Monday as he came off the bench against Liverpool, and he earned plenty of plaudits for his showing.
As players usually do, Poveda posted a message on Twitter after the game, and Jermaine Beckford replied to his tweet by giving him praise.
Poveda then finished the exchange by proclaiming that he’s just getting started.
This is certainly exciting to see.
Poveda is already one of the most exciting players in the Leeds United squad, and if he continues to get better and better, the Whites will have a real gem on their hands.
Hopefully, the winger can remain injury free and he can get a good run of games between now and the end of the season.
