Some Arsenal fans are fearing that Ben White won’t be available to face Chelsea this evening.
The Gunners welcome their London rivals to the Emirates Stadium later today.
With Alexandre Lacazette already ruled out and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a doubt, the odds are stacked against Arsenal as Mikel Arteta’s side look to bounce back from an opening-day defeat by Brentford last weekend.
Some of the pre-match talk has centered around whether £50 million signing White can shackle Chelsea new boy Romelu Lukaku.
But all the talk might well be for nothing because it appears as if the 23-year-old missed Arsenal’s final training session at London Colney on Saturday before the game.
White, who joined the North Londoners from Brighton & Hove Albion, wasn’t photographed in any of the training pictures.

Huge blow
If White is indeed absent, it’s a massive blow for Arteta.
This is because it leaves the Spaniard with a predicted centre-back pairing of Rob Holding and Pablo Mari.
And if Brentford can torment Mari, as they did last Friday, then there’s no telling what Thomas Tuchel’s side, now equipped with a £95 million striker, could do to the fomer Flamengo defender.
