Jose Mourinho likes a good wind up or two, and the Tottenham manager has already got a reaction out of some Arsenal fans ahead of Sunday’s clash.

Both Tottenham and Arsenal were in Europa League action on Thursday night – with the latter travelling to Greece, whilst their neighbours remained in London.

That left Mikel Arteta questioning that decision and suggesting that Spurs have an ‘advantage for their weekend showdown.

But in typical Mourinho fashion, he was quick to fire back at those comments, as he suggested that Arsenal had an ‘advantage’ when the duo last met in December.

Mourinho stated, as he told his press conference: “On December 6th. we played Arsenal in our stadium.

“On December 3rd, they played at home against Rapid Vienna. At the same time, we were playing in the ice in Linz with a late flight back. Was that an advantage to Arsenal?”

Arsenal fans fired back at Mourinho’s comments, with the majority hoping to silence him at the Emirates.

Some pointed out that the Group stages are entirely different to knockout games because of the level of the opponent on show.

Plus, during the group matches, Spurs were able to make several changes because for the above reasons.

Either way, whether Mourinho lights the fire, or whether someone else lights the fire.

One thing is for sure, he likes to pour the petrol on those flames and he’s doing just that ahead of Sunday’s battle.

Here is a selection of Arsenal fans reacting to Mourinho’s comments:
