Speaking on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, Dean Henderson has been discussing some of England’s bright young talents and Bukayo Saka.
Henderson was discussing the Three Lions’ chances of winning a major trophy in the near future, and Henderson is of the opinion that England have a great chance of making something happen.
The Manchester United loanee is more than impressed by the crop of young talents coming through in this country, and he namechecked Saka as one of the players that are coming through that he believes are brilliant.

Henderson lauds Saka
The Nottingham Forest stopper had good things to say about Saka, Mason Mount and Phil Foden.
“I honestly think England can win something big soon. We’ve been close and we’re going to get closer. The players coming through just seem to be better. You have Phil Foden, Mason Mount and Bukayo Saka, they’re brilliant players, so it’s something I want to be involved in and I’ll keep working hard,” Henderson said.
Already there
Henderson speaks about Mount, Foden and Saka as if they’re stars of the future, but the reality is that they’re already there.
Foden, despite his age, is a multi-time Premier League winner. Mount has played in and won a Champions League final, while Saka won England’s Player of the Year just this week.
This generation isn’t coming through, it’s here already, but the sad reality is that it’s struggling.
England’s recent form has been nothing short of awful, and while the individual players may be talented, a lack of form and a lack of cohesion could see England struggle in Qatar.
