Thierry Henry has hailed both Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe amid rumours that they could join Liverpool, as per his comments to Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.
Liverpool have been tipped to have an eye on both Haaland and Mbappe, although there are doubts over whether they could afford either of the young superstars.
Sky have suggested that Haaland would like to join Liverpool, as he is keen to link up with Jurgen Klopp.
Similarly, ESPN suggests that Mbappe would be willing to move to Anfield, if Liverpool could agree a price with PSG.
The pair are very different players – with Haaland possessing more power, but Mbappe the speedier of the pair.
And when analysing their strengths Henry could barely contain himself over either of the duo.
“He can play on the right, on the left or in the middle,” Henry said about his fellow compatriot, Mbappe.
“He knows his strength and he knows what he can not do.
“He can leave you for dead when he’s in the box and he can finish.
“He can beat you, he will run, you give him space and he’ll turn on you. He’s quick and he can dribble. His awareness and goalscoring abilities are second to none.”

The former Arsenal man was similarly complimentary about Haaland, who has 20 goals in just 14 Champions League matches.
“He doesn’t care about anything but the goal. Other players will go on the wing,” the Sky pundit added.
“He’s so powerful by the way. You look at him and you go ‘oh trouble’ straight away. The way he finishes is just ridiculous and the ability that he has.”
Liverpool’s chances of landing either of the pair surely depends on them making it into the Champions League.
The Reds’ chances of landing them, even if they make it into Europe’s top competition, seem slim but without elite level football their task would surely be practically impossible.
Either way, the rumours that the pair would be tempted to join Liverpool remain exciting and while they exist, Reds fans will be dreaming that they could pull off one of the most stunning signings of the summer.
