Micah Richards told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (07/04/21 at 9:55 pm) that Liverpool-linked Kylian Mbappe was ‘just ridiculous on Wednesday night.
As the snow fell in Bavaria, Mbappe shone in a crucial Champions League tie by scoring a brace, which saw PSG secure a 3-2 first-leg win against Bayern Munich.
Many have known it before, they saw it last night and they will continue to see it during these coming years, but this is why the World Cup-winning Frenchman is wanted by football’s elite across Europe.
Former Premier League winner, Richards, stated that there is ‘no weakness’ in Mbappe’s game as he lauded him for his clinical performance.
“I said it beforehand, what a player, we have a superstar on our hands,” said Richards.
“Four attempts and three goals for PSG. And this guy is just something else. I cannot see a weakness in his game. The only way to stop him is to double up or even treble up.
“His performance tonight was just ridiculous. He did it against Barcelona at the Nou Camp where he scored a hat-trick. And wow!
“This season is his season. He has always threatened to be the best. Everyone keeps talking about Haaland. But Mbappe!”

Mbappe’s clinical nature was required in Madrid on Tuesday night when Liverpool struggled in their own Champions League encounter.
Even though a spate of clubs would be keen to lure Mbappe’s talents their way, Duncan Castles told the Transfer Window Podcast that the super-talented speedster wants to join Liverpool.
Whether Liverpool have the funds to get into a titanic battle with the likes of Madrid, not just on the field, but off it too remains to be seen.
But he would be some statement signing for whoever snaps him up next.
