Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt some bad news about Cristian Romero.
The Argentine picked up a hamstring injury during the last international break.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte has repeatedly said that it was serious and that he was concerned by it.
And now the Italian manager has revealed the scale of the injury.
According to Conte, Romero won’t kick a ball for Tottenham again this year, most likely until January or February.
And with the Christmas fixtures piling up this month, the timing is far from ideal for the Lilywhites.

The good news here is that it’ll give Daniel Levy the impetus needed to strengthen the defence in January.

When fit, he has looked decent enough, but niggling injuries and international breaks have stopped him from getting much momentum in N17.
And that’s why this injury is so hurtful to a lot of Tottenham fans – it delays the adjustment period for him even more.
