Speaking on the Soccer AM YouTube channel, both Declan Rice and Ryan Fredericks have been talking about Nikola Vlasic’s ability to strike a ball.
The Croatian may have only scored one goal since joining West Ham in the summer, but both Rice and Fredericks reckon he’s got one of the best shots in the West Ham team.
Indeed, the pair both say that the midfielder can put a lot of power behind his shots.
What’s been said?
The West Ham pair spoke about Vlasic’s ball-striking ability.
“Now that I think about it, he can hit it, he can hit a ball really hard, that’s on his left as well,” Rice said.
Fredericks echoed that sentiment.
“He’s got one of the best strikes of the ball I’ve ever seen, the best shot power. Anything, it’s just pure power isn’t it, he’s got a mad sidefoot as well,” Fredericks said.

Needs more chances
It sounds as though Vlasic is absolutely dynamite in training, but we’ve not seen it all that often this season.
Perhaps he’s lacking confidence or struggling to adapt to the English game, but if his shooting is as good as Rice and Fredericks say, then he might start scoring more goals.
There’s nothing better to see in football than a long-range screamer, and it sounds as though Vlasic may well have one or two absolute scorchers in his locker.
