Leeds claimed another important point in the Premier League as the Whites drew 1-1 with Leicester City. And it was a match to remember for Adam Forshaw.

The 30-year-old made his first start for the Yorkshire side since 2019 after two years of continuous injury problems. Forshaw made his Premier League debut last week in Leeds’ 2-1 win against Norwich City.

And this Sunday, Forshaw was in the XI, with the midfielder pairing Kalvin Phillips in a 4-2-3-1 formation. And the Leeds hero impressed against Leicester at Elland Road.

The Whites claimed a draw against Brendan Rodgers side as Leeds climbed up to 15th in the Premier League table and further away from the dreaded relegation zone.

Injuries have been a recurring theme for Leeds this season. With the likes of Patrick Bamford and the aforementioned Phillips missing multiple games due to various knocks.

Yet this month could see Bielsa have his squad return to almost full fitness. And for Leeds fans, they are buzzing to see Forshaw back in the XI, with the midfielder performing well against Leicester.
