Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on the club’s official website.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool suffered a 3-2 defeat to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Norway international attacking midfielder Odegaard provided the assist for the first goal.
Brazil international forward Gabriel Martinelli scored the goal.
While analysing the goal, Liverpool manager Klopp has expressed his admiration of the pass from Odegaard.

Klopp said: “The first goal was definitely too early and in our situation it was obviously not what you need to get a foot in the game.
“I understand it a little bit because it’s a situation where we pass the ball forward, lose it and have a chance to win it back, Diogo nearly blocks the ball and if he can block the ball then I think we go the other way.
“But he can’t block the ball, the first ball plays through our lines and there we have to interrupt the game – whoever I don’t know exactly, I have to look at it back – because the moment when Odegaard can [play] this pass, this pass is not to defend anymore, it’s just not possible.”

The former Real Madrid player is a very classy footballer who creates chances and delivers some great final balls.
Odegaard has great vision, and he is one of the reasons why Arsenal are flourishing right now.
The Norwegian could not make a massive impact at Real Madrid, but under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, he has improved a lot and is can only get better in the coming years.
Odegaard is a gem of a footballer, and Arsenal are a better team with him in it.
