Fabrizio Romano has reported that Moises Caicedo has told Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool that he wants to join Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea.

The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that Moises Caicedo has told Liverpool that he wants to move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder had agreed personal terms with Chelsea back in May.

The 21-year-old Ecuador international midfielder has now directly told Liverpool about his decision not to move to Anfield.

The Guardian has reported that Liverpool have had an offer of £110 million for Caicedo accepted by his club Brighton.

Chelsea’s latest offer was £100 million.

The Blues will now reportedly make another bid for the youngster.

Liverpool should walk away from Moises Caicedo deal

In our opinion, Liverpool should simply walk away from a potential deal for Moises Caicedo now that he has told them that he wants to move to Chelsea.

There is no point in the Reds wasting time and money on a player who does not want to come.

Liverpool are better off finding someone else.

Perhaps the Merseyside club should renew their interest in Southampton defensive midfielder Romeo Lavia.

The former Manchester City prospect reportedly wants to move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Caicedo is a very good player who is young and has the potential to become a brilliant footballer in the future.

Liverpool would have been a better team with Caicedo in it, but it seems that he does not fancy a transfer to Anfield.

We believe that Liverpool should not end their pursuit of Caicedo and find a cheaper and potentially better alternative.
