Leon Osman has slammed Wolves’s performance against Leicester City yesterday on BBC Sport.
Wolves were beaten 1-0 at the King Power Stadium, and their display was well short of their best.
Wolves rarely threatened during the contest, as Brendan Rodgers’s side picked up a deserved three points.
Nuno’s men are usually very difficult to play against, but they didn’t show the same combative spirit that is usually associated with them.
And Osman says he noticed that Coady was furious with his side at one stage.
“Leicester are playing well, they are doing everything you’d want them to, moving the ball quickly, trying to create opportunities,” the pundit said.
“But you would think that Nuno Espirito Santo has set his side out and told them not to tackle. They’re not getting close, they’re not making contact – they’re just allowing Leicester to move the ball side to side.
“Conor Coady has just had to scream at his team to tell them to start making contact, start putting a foot in because it’s so easy for Leicester at the moment.”
Coady’s shouts did not manage to have the up-turn on Wolves’ performance that he may have been hoping for.
Leicester cruised to the three points in the end, as Wolves sunk to a disappointing defeat.
Wolves are now in ninth place in the Premier League table, but only sit three points away from the top four.
