Chris Sutton can’t believe that he thinks Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah could be outscored by two of his Premier League rivals this season.
Salah to be caught up?
UMM asked Sutton to rank who he feels will come out as the top scorer between Liverpool’s Salah, Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku and Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo by the end of the season.
And it was Salah who Sutton feels will ultimately finish at the bottom of the pile, much to the pundit’s own disbelief.
“I think Lukaku is going to make the difference at Chelsea this season,” he said.
“Then Ronaldo, he shouldn’t be playing football at 36! He should be retired, feet up or a pundit, shouldn’t he? I think he should be second.
“And then I think Mo Salah third, how can I say Mo Salah third? It’s Lukaku first, Ronaldo second and Mo Salah third but that just doesn’t sound right!”

Leading the way
The good thing for Salah is that right now the Liverpool man actually sits right at the top of the goalscoring charts.
Salah has netted five goals already this season and looks to be in sparkling form for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has had a major impact since moving to Old Trafford but he has only been able to notch three times, while Lukaku also has three goals to his name to date.
If Salah keeps up his current form then he could be almost impossible to catch.
But whether the Egyptian will dip slightly at some point in the season and allow the Premier League’s other leading marksmen to catch him in the goalscoring charts remains to be seen.
