Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, Arsenal legend David Seaman has attempted to predict the outcome of the Gunners’ game against Brighton this weekend.
Arsenal come into this one in good form. They’ve won each of their last three league games and are building momentum.
However, Brighton have been excellent this season and will provide the Gunners with a huge challenge.
Indeed, Graham Potter’s side are just one point off the top of the Premier League table, but despite the Seagulls’ great form, Seaman is backing Arsenal to get the job done.
What’s been said?
Seaman predicted a 2-1 win for the Gunners.
“I’m going to go for, just because of the confidence I saw during that Tottenham game, I’m going to go for an Arsenal win and I’m going to go for 2-1 Arsenal,” Seaman said.
“I don’t think Brighton will handle Saka, Smith Rowe and Aubameyang too well and although they’ve been brilliant I think they’re going to concede, so I’m going to go Arsenal for this one, 2-0,” Seaman’s co-host added.

Tough test
Seaman may think Arsenal are going to win, but this isn’t going to be straightforward for the Gunners.
Brighton have often been a bit of a bogey team for Arsenal in recent years, and they’re better than ever at the moment.
The Seagulls could cause Mikel Arteta’s side all sorts of problems in this game, but as Seaman’s co-host says, it’s hard to see Brighton coping with Saka, Smith Rowe and Aubameyang if they’re on top form.
