Chelsea fans spoke highly of Mo Salah after he struck a hat-trick for Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Liverpool shocked the footballing world by beating their bitter rivals 5-0 – and Salah walking away with the match ball.
That once erratic and eager winger that first stepped onto English soil in Chelsea colours is now probably the best player in the world right now.
Added with Salah’s goals yesterday, he also became the highest-scoring African in Premier League history.
Drogba netted 104 goals in 254 appearances over two spells for Chelsea, whilst the Egyptian now has 107 strikes to his name in just 167 appearances.
Chelsea fans were simply left wowed by what they are seeing from their former player and they think he is the best in the world right now.
Probably only Karim Benzema can argue a cause, but he’s not doing it in the best league in the world, nor is he destroying the opposition like Salah is.
At this rate, Salah will probably end up scoring goals in more games compared to those he doesn’t find the back of the net in.
He has 15 goals from 12 appearances in all competitions this season, with only the might of Burnley stopping him from finding the back of the net.
