Some West Ham fans on social media have been going crazy over a clip of Michail Antonio showcasing his strength against West Brom on Tuesday evening.

The striker had a game to remember, scoring the winning goal for the Hammers, but aside from his second-half strike, there was another moment that caught everyone’s eye.

Indeed, Antonio was sprinting up the pitch trying to start a breakaway, and when Matheus Pereira tried to stop his attack, he made sure that it was only ever going to end one way.

Antonio didn’t stop his run, and his strength proved too much for Pereira as the Brazilian was left in a heap on the floor as the Hammers star ran through.

Unfortunately, West Ham didn’t score at the end of that attack, but the 12-second clip of the incident that was posted on social media perfectly encapsulated exactly what Antonio is about as a player.

As you can imagine, West Ham fans were in awe of the physicality on show from Antonio here.

Here’s a selection of the best reaction from social media…
