Tottenham Hotspur loanee Clinton N’Jie continues to be marginalised at Marseille.

With Tottenham Hotspur needing a striker, now would be an ideal time for loanee Clinton N’Jie to start making them wish they had him available.
The Cameroon international is on loan at Marseille, where he has had an inconsistent season so far.
Due to an injury to Bafetimbi Gomis last month he was briefly tried up front, netting in his first match as a central striker, before two woeful performances which saw Marseille lose heavily.
He lost his place in the starting XI a week ago, and he remained sidelined this past week against Angers.
N’Jie was brought on in the 66th minute of the match with Marseille 2-0 up, but he could not make any sort of impact.
Marseille went on to win 3-0, but in 24 minutes on the pitch plus stoppage time, he managed just five touches.
Not one of these was an attempt on goal, with N’Jie doing little to enhance his claim for a start in Marseille’s upcoming fixtures.
With Bafetimbi Gomis expected back from injury at the end of the month, N’Jie is at risk of being marginalised further.
Ex-Newcastle pair Remy Cabella and Florian Thauvin inspired Marseille’s victory over Angers and have been in good form, while Dimitri Payet is a firm fixture in the starting XI, creating five chances in their latest win.
N’Jie at present looks like returning to Tottenham as more of a problem than a solution.
