Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber and Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk seem to have been impressed by the performance of Ryan Gravenberch for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the UEFA Europa League against LASK.

Liverpool got the better of LASK 3-1 in UEFA Europa League Group E on Thursday evening.
Darwin Nunez (penalty), Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah scored the goals for Liverpool.

The Premier League club actually conceded the first goal of the match on 14 minutes.

Praise for Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch

Ryan Gravenberch started the match, and his performance impressed his Dutch compatriots Jurrien Timber of Arsenal and Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool.

The 21-year-old Netherlands international, who joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, provided the assist for Diaz’s goal on 63 minutes.

The youngster started in the centre of a three-man midfield in a 4-3-3 formation for Liverpool.

Gravenberch was substituted in the 61st minute due to an injury.

Klopp has said that it was cramp, so it seems that Liverpool fans need not worry about the situation.

Hopefully it is not serious.
