Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are reportedly keen on FC Salzburg hitman Erling Braut Haaland.

Jurgen Klopp previously lauded Tottenham and Manchester United target Erling Braut Haaland as a ‘wonderful player’ as the Salzburg man is now being linked with a number of Europe’s top clubs.
The Daily Star have claimed that Tottenham and Manchester United are set to battle Italian side Juventus for Haaland’s signature.
The 19-year-old powerhouse has been running riot in Europe this season which has caught the eye of some of the top clubs across the land – he has scored 18 goals in 11 games, including four strikes in two Champions League matches [transfermarkt].
Amid Haaland being linked with the likes of Spurs and United, Klopp recently praised his talents prior to the Champions League holders beating Salzburg – Haaland would score during that 4-3 thriller at Anfield.
“[He’s a] Wonderful player, young, very confident,” said Klopp, as quoted by Football 365. “He looks clear-minded on the pitch. He looks like a decent player and he’s in the perfect place at the moment to prepare for the next challenges of his life.”
At this moment in time, United need a striker more than Spurs, but that doesn’t mean that Mauricio Pochettino wouldn’t want to add a player of his talents to his ranks.
Haaland’s scoring qualities are hitting the roof and if he can continue that in the Champions League then more and more clubs will be keen on his services.
Not only that, he isn’t playing in a high-profile European league, and is still a teenager, so Haaland may find that a team in one of the high profile leagues may well take a punt on him sooner rather than later.
