Newcastle United are said to be keen to bring in Jordon Ibe from Bournemouth this summer.

The Bournemouth winger is still yet to fulfil his potential, and Newcastle are now said to be prepared to take a chance on him.
Ibe’s time at Bournemouth has been a frustrating one so far, as he has been unable to hold down a place in their first team.
The forward made just nine Premier League starts last term, and there is understandably some question marks over whether he would be a worthwhile addition to Newcastle’s squad.
But Klopp’s comments should encourage Newcastle fans that Ibe could turn into a great addition to their side.

“He’s still a brilliant, big talent which is very good for English football,” Klopp said, before letting Ibe leave Liverpool back in 2017.
“He did well with the pass for the first goal, and the cross for the second. I was very happy. It was a beautiful pass from Jordon Ibe [for Sturridge’s goal]. We had a lot of moments and it’s absolutely exciting.”
Ibe would bring even more pace and skill to Newcastle’s attacking ranks, but he would likely only be a covering option.
Newcastle have brought in some real quality up-front, with Allan Saint Maximin and Joelinton both likely to play key roles over the upcoming campaign.
