Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp watches the players warm up
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that anyone who wants to sign a player from the Reds will have to pay as there won’t be any “presents”.
He also remained pretty tight-lipped as to whether there would be any incomings between now and the end of the transfer window in a summer that has seen plenty of activity on Merseyside.
He told reporters, as reported by the Liverpool Echo: “We will see what happens. If somebody wants a player then they have to pay because we only have good players.

“We have a lot of players but it is not finished – it will be a smaller.”
When asked about potential new faces, he said: “Maybe one or two things can happen.”
Klopp confirmed that Joel Matip is fit to play in one of the games this weekend with the Reds travelling to Germany to take on Mainz 24 hours later.
Liverpool’s Marko Grujic scores their first goal
Matip hasn’t played since hobbling off in the closing stages of the friendly against Wigan Athletic in the middle of last month with an ankle problem. Marko Grujic is also available after suffering from concussion in the defeat to Chelsea in Los Angeles.
Mamadou Sakho, Joe Gomez and Lucas Leiva all remain sidelined through injury problems, while goalkeeper Loris Karius is in the early stages of his recovery from a broken hand.
However, Klopp did report that Sakho is back and rehabilitating in training after being sent home the tour of the United States, but he remained tight lipped on his situation.
He said: “Nothing to say. It is a never ending story for media. It is between us.”
