Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has said that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will miss James Milner.
The former Arsenal star has written in SportsKeeda that James Milner will be a miss for manager Jurgen Klopp in the Liverpool dressing room.
Liverpool have announced that former Leeds United and Newcastle United star Milner is among the players who will leave Anfield at the end of the season.
The 37-year-old Englishman is out of contract at Liverpool in the summer of 2023 and will become a free agent.
And Sky Sports pundit Merson believes that the £120,000-a-week (SalarySport) Milner will be a big miss for Klopp in the Liverpool dressing room.
Merson wrote: “Liverpool will miss Milner as well. He has been absolutely brilliant for the club and Jurgen Klopp will surely miss his presence in the dressing room next season.”

Liverpool will move on from James Milner
In our view, James Milner will not be that big a miss for Liverpool… on the pitch.
Yes, Milner is a very senior and experienced player who does a good job whenever he is called in action, but he is 37 now.
Liverpool simply cannot reply on a player who is that old.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will have to move on from Milner.
Now, of course, no one is doubting the contribution that Milner has made to Liverpool over the years, but all good things come to an end.
