According to talkSPORT, West Ham want to sign Southampton forward Danny Ings, who is enjoying a decent campaign.
The 3-cap England international has scored 11 goals in 29 games for the Saints, having netted 25 in all competitions last season.
TalkSPORT say that the Hammers are also looking at Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, as well as Everton’s Josh King.
In our view, Ings is the best striker of the trio, and one who has the potential to take West Ham to another level.
The 28-year-old is a fantastic finisher – his movement is incredible as well.
According to Jürgen Klopp, who managed the £20 million man at Liverpool, he’s also an ‘outstanding’ character to have around the place.

Speaking in tribute to Ings after he left for Southampton in 2018, Klopp added that the ex-Burnley man is ‘full of energy’.
Liverpool’s official website quotes the German as saying: “He is such an outstanding boy. Honestly, if you could bottle character and spirit, his would sell worldwide – he is so incredibly positive and full of energy. But we won’t just miss his character because he is a footballer who has all the tools.”
In our view, West Ham would already have a place in next season’s Champions League wrapped up if Ings played for them.

A frontline of Jesse Lingard, Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio and Ings is simply mouthwatering.
Not to mention Declan Rice and Tomáš Souček sat behind the quartet!
If there’s even a small chance of West Ham completing a deal for Ings, they must jump at it – he’s one of the best forwards in the Premier League.
