According to the Daily Mail, Wolves are keen to sign Danny Ward after watching him star for Wales at EURO 2020.
What’s the story?
Well, José Mourinho’s Roma have been sniffing around Rui Patrício, so Bruno Lage is seemingly on the lookout for a new shot-stopper.
Wolves appear to have identified Ward as his replacement, should the 96-cap Portugal international leave the Midlands.
Leicester paid Liverpool £12.5 million for the 16-cap Wales international’s services back in July 2018.
However, he has only made 14 appearances for the Foxes, due to the stunning form of Kasper Schmeichel.
Wales goalkeeping coach Tony Roberts is set to arrive at Molineux in July.
The Daily Mail describe that as a boost to Wolves in their hopes of landing Ward, as the pair are currently working together at EURO 2020.
Jürgen Klopp rates Danny Ward highly

One man who’s a big fan of the 28-year-old is Jürgen Klopp.
The German handed Ward his Premier League debut back in April 2016, and was left very impressed by what he saw.
As quoted by the BBC, Klopp said Ward was ‘brilliant’ as Liverpool secured a 2-1 win.

The Wolves target nearly kept a clean sheet, but for a controversial goal from Josh King in the 93rd minute.
If Lage can bring the Wrexham-born glovesman to Molineux, it would be a great signing to either replace, or compete with, Patrício.
