Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants Liverpool’s Ben Woodburn at Ibrox, with West Bromwich Albion also claimed to be interested.

Earlier this month, The Scottish Sun claimed that Rangers could be interested in bringing Ben Woodburn to Ibrox on loan from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
It was reported that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard wanted to sign the 19-year-old forward from Liverpool in the summer of 2018.
The Wales international forward eventually joined Sheffield United on loan, but the youngster is now back at the Reds.
The Scottish Sun also claimed that West Bromwich Albion, Blackburn Rovers, Hull City, Brentford and Wigan Athletic all want the youngster this month.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has now suggested that Woodburn could send out on loan this month.

Klopp told Liverpool’s official website about his plan for Woodburn: “We have to see. There are a couple of clubs interested, but to be honest if these clubs don’t give me the guarantee that he will play, there is absolutely no reason from my point of view to give him on loan.”
The Liverpool boss added: “Now he trained [on Friday] for the first time so I think if something happens with a loan, then it will happen at the end of the week. We will really try to give him as many sessions as possible so if he goes somewhere, he is really in a good situation.”
No need at Rangers?
Woodburn is a very talented and promising young forward, but perhaps the 19-year-old Wales international is not needed at Rangers anymore.
The Gers have signed striker Jermain Defoe on loan from Bournemouth in the January transfer window, and Steven Davis has moved to Rangers on a loan deal from Southampton.
The youngster, though, will be a good signing for West Brom on loan for the rest of the season.
