
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that Mohamed Salah has developed under him, as quoted in The Liverpool Echo.
Klopp has praised the Egypt international forward, who is an important player in the Liverpool team.
The German has said that he hopes that Salah stays at Liverpool for a long time, and has stated that the 28-year-old has developed as a footballer and is not just a goalscorer.
The Liverpool Echo quotes Klopp as saying about Salah: “It’s just a bit awkward when I have to praise my own players, which I like to do to be honest, but especially in Mo’s case, the numbers speak for themselves.
“Mo is not only a goalscorer, he has developed as a footballer as well. He is a very, very important player for us and hopefully he will be that for a very long time of course.”

World-class footballer
Salah has been on the books of Liverpool since 2017 and has developed into a world-class footballer.
The former Chelsea player has improved his finishing and is now a lethal force in front of goal.
According to WhoScored, the 28-year-old has scored 17 goals and provided three assists in 24 Premier League games and has scored four goals and given one assist in seven Champions League games for Arsenal so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, Salah scored 19 goals and provided 10 assists in 34 league matches, and scored four goals and gave two assists in eight Champions League games for the Gunners, according to WhoScored.
Liverpool are not having the best of seasons in the Premier League, but that has not stopped Salah from banging in the goals for fun.
