Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp comments on Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur and Unai Emery’s Arsenal.
Klopp has also backed Arsenal to come good after the Gunners’ disappointing start to the campaign.
Unai Emery’s side have lost their opening two Premier League matches, losing 2-0 to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium in their first game before going down 3-2 to Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham have won their opening two league fixtures against Newcastle United and Fulham, while Liverpool, too, have picked up maximum points from their first couple of matches in the Premier League this season.
Klopp told The Express: “I really think Tottenham will have a brilliant season. They are together still and have a fantastic manager.
“A few other teams have a big chance too. Chelsea look really positive, Arsenal not a good start but that will change.”
Title challenge
While it is hard to see Arsenal challenge for the Premier League title this season, Liverpool and Tottenham will certainly give Manchester City a run for their money.
Both the Reds and Spurs have strong squads, and with Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino in charge of the respective teams, they will be full of confidence.
Manchester United will also be challenging City for the Premier League title this campaign.
