Liverpool boss thrilled to have Nathaniel Clyne back ahead of new season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insisted that getting Nathaniel Clyne back to full fitness is like having a new signing.
Clyne begun pre-season with the rest of his teammates and is looking to bounce back from the worst year of his career.

Injury caused him to miss nearly the entire season, and he made only three appearances at the end of he campaign.
He lost both his club and England place to breakout Reds talent Trent Alexander-Arnold.
But while the teenager features at the World Cup with England, Clyne is making the most of his fresh start at Melwood.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “Clyney was already involved again in the last part of the season, but of course he’s as well like a new addition to the squad.”

Klopp also added that he was delighted to get Joe Gomez and Joel Matip back after their injury struggles.
Clyne may have lost his place to Alexander-Arnold, but the former Southampton defender will ave a key role to play this season if fit.
Liverpool must be cautious not to over play their young defender, and Alexander-Arnold will need a rest after the World Cup.
Clyne has a chance to lay down a marker in pre-season, and if he can get back to his best, the competition for places will continue to push his long-term successor.
