Klopp believes that the 19-year-old midfielder is ready to make the step-up to the Liverpool senior side and play an important role in the team next season and beyond.
Klopp told The Mirror: “Curtis Jones is a good example. He looks ready. So that means we have space and potential for improvement.
“Each player we believe can improve. So we will go again next season – and we will fight, we will be ready.”
Stats
Jones has made one start and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
The teenager also played once in the EFL Cup and scored two goals in three FA Cup ties for the Reds this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Making an impact
Jones has done well in the matches in which he has played this season, and this is only the start for the 19-year-old.
Of course, it is not going to be easy for the England Under-19 international to play week in and week out for the Merseyside outfit next season, but he will get more playing time than he got this campaign.
If Jones makes the most of the chances he gets next season, then he will make himself an important part of Klopp’s team.
