Speaking in his pre-match press conference Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about Luis Diaz and how he’s settling in at Liverpool.
The Colombian is the Reds’ newest signing having arrived towards the end of the transfer window, and he’s getting to grips with life on Merseyside.
Klopp says that Diaz is actually really enjoying training at Kirkby, claiming that he doesn’t think he’s ever seen a player smile as much during a rondo session.
What’s Klopp said?
The German shared how Diaz is getting on in training.
“Yesterday, he had a normal session and he enjoyed it a lot. I’m not sure if you can see some pictures of our session yesterday. We started with a longer rondo and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a player smiling that constantly during a rondo, so he enjoyed it and the rest of the session as well, so that’s all good,” Klopp said.

Great to hear
This is brilliant to hear about a new signing.
The fact that Diaz is brimming with joy is a fantastic sign, and it can only bode well for his performances on the pitch.
Yes, playing for Liverpool is serious business, but footballers are often at their best when they’re enjoying the game and having fun, and it seems as though Diaz has immediately been able to start enjoying life at Liverpool.
Hopefully he has plenty to smile about in the coming weeks as Liverpool attempt to mount a title challenge.
