Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told the club’s official website that Andy Robertson did not suffer an injury against Manchester City.
The defending English champions suffered a 4-1 loss at the hands of City at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Robertson is one of the best left-backs in Europe and is a key figure in the Liverpool team.
As expected, the 26-year-old Scotland international started against City, but manager Klopp decided to take him off in the 85th minute and brought on Kostas Tsimikas.
Klopp has said that Robertson did not suffer an injury, and that he is fine.
The German told Liverpool’s official website when asked if Robertson has picked up an injury: “No, everything’s fine.”

Good news for Liverpool fans
Robertson did not have a particular great game against City, but the Liverpool star is a big player for the team and will be determined to bounce back from the defeat.
That the 26-year-old is not injured is great news for the Reds, who have had problems at the back this season.
Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are long-term injury concerns, and the situation has been so dire that even Jordan Henderson has played in defence.
