Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been discussing injury news ahead of the Reds’ game against Crystal Palace.
Liverpool have quite a congested fixture list at the moment, and as ever, a busy schedule can lead to injuries.
Fortunately, Klopp doesn’t have any major injuries to update fans on. However, he did say that a few players picked up knocks against Arsenal, including Fabinho.
What’s Klopp said about Fabinho?
Klopp gave an update on the status of his team and Fabinho after the Arsenal game.
“Ox, we hope he will play, he was running yesterday, but we don’t know what that means for today. It would be helpful if he could train before the game. The rest, as far as I know were only knocks. We got knocks, proper knocks. A second yellow for Partey against Fabinho, that was a proper knock, but I didn’t hear anything, and most of the time, that’s positive,” Klopp said.

Needs to play
Fabinho may not be 100 per cent fit for the Palace game, but, in our view, he has to play.
Liverpool don’t have much depth in the midfield at the moment, and against Palace, they need a destructive force like Fabinho in there.
Palace have so many tricky midfielders. The likes of Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise and Conor Gallagher have caused so many teams problems this season, and Liverpool need Fabinho in the team in order to deal with the threats posed by that trio.
