Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp addressed the media ahead of his side’s clash with Watford at Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has said the club will give Danny Ings all the time he needs after it emerged earlier in the week that he had suffered another knee injury – ruling the forward out for the rest of the season.
The Liverpool boss said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo live blog: “From yesterday on it’s already a positive story because the surgery was successful and rehab has started. We will wait for him and give him all the time he needs.
“Danny will be back and will be a Liverpool player 100%.”

Klopp also told reporters, as per the Liverpool Echo blog, that he has a full compliment of players available for this weekend’s Premier League clash on Sunday, meaning James Milner should be available for the game after missing last weekend’s win over Crystal Palace because of illness.
“There’s still three days to go, maybe something else will happen. But in this moment they are all fit.
“You have to be really careful if someone feels (sick). In this moment everything is good.”
The Reds’ boss says the side are still working on their defending after another game which saw the side leak goals, though they did impress going forward in last weekend’s 4-2 win at Selhurst Park.

He added: “We keep on working on it. It was nice that we didn’t concede a goal from set-piece and scored two from set-piece.
“After Palace we felt very optimistic about the situation, but that was six days ago.”
He doesn’t want to think about the side’s current league position, which sees them level on points with sides at the top, and seems to be taking the attitude of focussing on one game at a time, though did say he expects to win every game he goes in to.
“Nothing happened until now, it’s better to be in this position that other positions. Watford is everything I think about, not the 10 games we’ve played until now.”
Klopp is anticipating a stern defence for his side to come up against this weekend, as he noted the Hornets haven’t conceded in each of their last three league games.
