Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Ryan Gravenberch and has said that the summer signing has massive potential.

Ryan Gravenberch joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old Netherlands international midfielder is yet to make an appearance for the Premier League club.

Liverpool will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League this weekend.

Gravenberch could feature in the match for the Reds.

And Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken highly of the youngster.

Klopp told Liverpool’s official website about Gravenberch: “The package is really interesting. He’s good in small spaces and that’s now really special, good in big spaces as well.

“He can accelerate with the ball, he can really drive the ball, he has a really good overview, he is a good passer, a good shooter. The full week training now.

“Everybody said before and he knows that, he’s a really skilled boy, always was. When he moved to Bayern he had already more than 100 games at Ajax, that’s not a usual career until then.

“But everybody would have said defensively he can make the next step 100 per cent, but I see that he wants that, he got that 100 per cent. He’s really in that, he’s working extremely hard.”

Klopp added: “He is a good guy and a player with massive potential. I don’t know where he will end up, he has to fit in what we are doing but he will.

“How long it will take, I don’t know, we will see, to reach closer to his peak but we will work on that. He is here for a long time and I’m really happy that he’s here and we can start that.”

Ryan Gravenberch could flourish under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool

In our view, Ryan Gravenberch could star for Liverpool under manager Jurgen Klopp in the coming years.

Gravenberch may have struggled for regular playing time at Bayern Munich, but that the Bundesliga champions signed him in the first place shows how highly he is rated in the footballing community.

And the Netherlands international was very good at Ajax.

The likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane became world-class players under Klopp at Liverpool.

There is no reason why Gravenberch could not become so under the German boss.

Liverpool are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
