Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is seemingly attracting interest from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp and Sami Hyypia previously lauded Liverpool defender Joe Gomez, who is seemingly attracting interest from Tottenham and Arsenal.
90min have claimed that centre-back Gomez wants to leave Liverpool, with North London duo, Spurs and Arsenal keen to secure his signature.
It is said that the Liverpool man prefers a move to London, which will no doubt delight Spurs and Arsenal supporters if he were to become available.
Liverpool manager, Klopp previously labelled Gomez as ‘outstanding’, whilst Anfield legend, Hyypia claimed that he is like a younger version of Virgil van Dijk.
There’s no doubt that Gomez is highly-rated amongst those who know him well, including from his manager, who has seen him week in, week out on the training pitch. Here are Klopp’s and Hyypia’s previous comments on Gomez:
“Naby Keita and Joe Gomez demonstrated why they are big figures for us with their efforts in Genk,” said Klopp, as quoted by The Daily Express. “For Joe, the attitude and intensity he showed when coming on Wednesday is just what he and we need. Outstanding from him and we will need him a lot
Hyypia added: “Joe Gomez can be the leading centre-back in England for a long time. He is still young and he can still learn. With the experience, he will learn, but he has everything. I know Virgil van Dijk is not the oldest guy, but Gomez is like a young Virgil.
“He has the same qualities, he’s so quick and so strong in his challenges and he can play football as well – I just think he will be so good for Liverpool, but it is important that he stays fit to have that bright future ahead of him.”

It is very difficult for Gomez to play regular football at Liverpool given the qualities of a Van Dijk and his partner Joel Matip.
But the likes of Spurs and Arsenal could do with a talent like Gomez, both because of his qualities and because of their defensive problems this season.
Either way, it would have to take something big for Gomez to move from the current European Champions and Premier League leaders to North London.
