According to Calciomercato, Liverpool are in the race to sign Ousmane Dembélé along with Manchester United and Juventus.
The World Cup winning forward has endured a difficult time at the Camp Nou following a £135.5 million move from Borussia Dortmund.
Dembélé has scored just five goals in 24 La Liga games this season.
Now, Calciomercato claim that Barcelona are happy to sell him for just £43 million – a significant reduction on what they paid.
If this news if true, then it’s interesting to see that Jürgen Klopp has already expressed a desire to sign the 23-year-old in the past.
Back in May 2018, the German admitted that he was ‘interested’ in signing the 23-cap France international.

The Daily Mail quote him as saying: “Is he on the market? Now I’m interested.”
Now, nearly three years on from these comments, it is unknown whether Klopp’s stance has changed or not.
However, with Mohamed Salah’s future uncertain, and Sadio Mané not in the best of form, perhaps Klopp might be keen to snap up the £135.5 million man for a cut-price fee.

Admittedly, he isn’t in the best of form for Barcelona.
Having said that, he is a world-class talent on his day, who can absolutely terrorise defences.
At 23, Dembélé still has plenty of time to get better and better.
