Barcelona reportedly want to sign Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho in the summer transfer window.
Spanish giants Barcelona have been linked with a move for Liverpool attacking midfielder Coutinho in the summer transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Barca have made a bid of £72 million for the Brazilian international, who can also operate as a winger.
The report, though, has also claimed that the Premier League club are expected to turn down the offer from the European giants.

Liverpool manager Klopp has suggested that Coutinho is not for sale, and has been quoted as saying by The Liverpool Echo when asked about the (reported) bid from Barcelona: “Yes (he is not for sale), but that’s not since this morning or yesterday, it’s not been any different.
“Phil is a very important player for us. He’s trying to get back his rhythm but there’s no doubt about his quality. He’s very smart both offensively and defensively.
“The nice news for us is that he’s still young. He has improved a lot since I’ve been here and he can still improve a lot.
“I’m not surprised that any club is interested in players at Liverpool. The very important message is that we are not a selling club and that’s how it is.”

Coutinho is one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League and is a key figure in the current Liverpool squad.
For the Reds to challenge for the Premier League and progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League next season, they need to keep hold of the former Inter Milan man.
Coutinho scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 28 Premier League starts for Liverpool during the 2016-17 campaign.
