
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Aston Villa striker Louie Barry on talkSPORT.
Klopp has said that the 17-year-old striker is like a little Jamie Vardy, referring to the Leicester City striker.
The German made the comment about the former Barcelona prospect after Liverpool beat Villa 4-1 away from home at Villa Park in the third round of the FA Cup on Friday evening.
Klopp told Barry about talkSPORT: “The boys did really well. Little Jamie Vardy was a proper threat.”
How did Louie Barry play against Liverpool?
Barry is a very talented and promising young striker who can also operate as a winger.
The teenager moved to Barcelona from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2019 and returned to England in January 2020, this time to Villa.
The youngster has been doing well for the Villans’ youth team, and he made a very good impression on his debut for the senior side.
