Tottenham have closed the gap to Liverpool over the last week.

Liverpool dropped points for the second game in a row on Monday night, as they could only draw 1-1 away at West Ham United.
The Reds could only draw with Leicester City in midweek, and were looking for a response on Monday night – especially having seen Manchester City beat Arsenal on Sunday.
It all started so well as Sadio Mane put Liverpool in front from James Milner’s cross, with the goal allowed to stand despite Milner clearly being offside.
West Ham hit back though, with Michail Antonio finishing from a well-worked free kick, and they could have been 2-1 up, but Declan Rice headed a free kick wide.
West Ham kept Liverpool at bay and earned a point out of the game, meaning Liverpool’s lead at the top is down to just three points ahead of Manchester City’s trip to Everton on Wednesday.
In fact, Liverpool are now just five points clear of Tottenham, as Spurs have won their last two games whereas the Reds have drawn, meaning they have trimmed the gap by four points over the last week.

Some still doubt that Spurs can really challenge Liverpool and City having failed to make any signings since the end of last January’s transfer window, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been quizzed about the matter.
Klopp has told Football.London that he thinks Spurs are ‘100 per cent’ in the race for the Premier League title, praising them for winning games late on despite a host of injury concerns, with the German clearly feeling that Tottenham could yet catch his side.
“I am confident our lads won’t crack,” said Klopp. “Tottenham have come from behind and had a very difficult situation until recently when they have done brilliantly, winning games late with lots of injury problems. They are 100 per cent in the race,” he added.
