Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given his verdict on the performance of Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott against Burnley at Anfield.
Klopp’s Liverpool beat Vincent Kompany’s Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
So, what has Jurgen Klopp said about Liverpool duo Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott? Let’s take a look.
Jurgen Klopp praises Liverpool duo Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott
Well, Liverpool won 3-1 against Burnley at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Diogo Jota, Luiz Diaz and Darwin Nunez scored the goals for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners.
Curtis Jones started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes. The midfielder was deployed on the left of a three-man midfield.

Jones did not have the best of times in the first half, but he did well after moving to right-back in the second half.
Harvey Elliott came on as a substitute and provided the assist for the third goal for Liverpool. The winger was involved in the second goal as well.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was impressed by the display produced by Jones and Elliott.
BBC Sport quotes Klopp as saying: “We knew at half-time what we had to do. We were in control but of course we had to change Trent Alexander-Arnold and are short on defenders. Curtis Jones did incredibly well, like Harvey Elliott did when he came on.”
Big win for Liverpool
In my opinion, Liverpool’s win against Burnley was massive. Of course, we all expected the Reds to win, but the way they bounced back from the defeat to Arsenal last weekend was brilliant.
Losing to Arsenal would have been a big blow for Liverpool, but they will now be full of confidence after winning against Burnley.
Manchester City won against Everton on Saturday, and I expect Arsenal to beat West Ham United in the London derby on Sunday.
