Jurgen Klopp has hailed Mohamed Salah by stating that his Liverpool hat-trick against Rangers on Wednesday night was ‘special’.
The Reds headed to Ibrox on Wednesday with Jurgen Klopp desperately seeking a result after a mixed start to the season.
Scott Arfield’s opener threatened to make this another dismal night for Liverpool but Klopp’s men responded in style.
Roberto Firmino bagged a brace to turn the game on its head before Darwin Nunez slotted home number three.
Salah then took over, smashing a six-minute hat-trick before Harvey Elliott rounded off the scoring by making the scoreline 7-1.

This is exactly what Salah needed.
The Egyptian is one of the top attackers in world football, we all know that.
Yet since signing a big contract over the summer, Salah’s form has tailed off and he has recorded just two goals and three assists in eight Premier League games.
There have been comparisons to the likes of Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, two players whose form nosedived after signing big deals at Arsenal.
Salah was even hooked off with 20 minutes to play against Arsenal on Sunday and was left on the bench against Rangers, so he really needed a response.
Three goals in six minutes is quite the response.
Salah was his old self, clinical in front of goal and just able to find that yard and shape a shot onto his left foot.
Praise has been raining in for Salah and there are hopes that he is now truly back on track after dismantling Rangers in the blink of an eye.
Liverpool boss Klopp has joined in, offering just three words when asked about Salah’s hat-trick, as seen on Sky Sports.
“Special. Typical Mo,” said Klopp before going on to praise the rest of his first team.
The timing is perfect with Manchester City heading to Anfield this weekend and we will now see if Salah can take this form back to the Premier League.
