Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp is a fan of Everton centre-back Yerry Mina.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told The Independent that Everton have a ‘brilliant player’ in the form of Yerry Mina.
The 24-year-old defender has only managed two Premier League appearances for Everton since joining from Barcelona.
Mina, who’s expected to line up against Liverpool this weekend, spent the first couple months of his Goodison Park loan out injured.
But the Colombia international enjoyed a brilliant World Cup campaign on an individual level, and the Reds manager says he is a fan of Mina as well as numerous other Toffees stars.
He told The Independent: “[Seamus] Coleman is back and fit. [Michael] Keane settled and fit, Mina is a brilliant player, very important for the build-up and everything and [Lucas] Digne is like the young [Leighton] Baines if you will.”
Mina has kept a clean sheet in both of his Premier League outings, but a 0-0 draw away to Chelsea is the impressive one.
You could argue that Liverpool boast a more impressive attack than Chelsea, and therefore a clean sheet would be a lot harder to come by when it’s against Sadio Mane and Mo Salah for instance.
But Mina has already proven himself a fine defender, in a fine defence to boot, so keeping the Reds’ formidable offence at bay isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.
