Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about West Ham United defensive midfielder Tomas Soucek on the club’s official website.
Klopp has been impressed by Soucek’s goalscoring prowess for West Ham in recent weeks.
According to WhoScored, the Czech Republic international has scored seven goals in 20 Premier League matches for the Hammers so far this season.
Liverpool will take on West Ham away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “[They have] brought in the right players, I think everybody’s really impressed about the goal threat of Soucek, that’s incredible. Antonio is back. It’s just settled now.”
Big test for Liverpool
Liverpool returned to winning ways on Thursday evening, as they got the better of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
The defending English champions will head into the match against the Hammers high on confidence, but they will face a big test in London.
The Hammers are doing extremely well at the moment and are challenging for the Champions League places.
West Ham will know that a win against Liverpool will be a big statement, and manager David Moyes will be determined to put on a good show.
One should not be surprised if West Ham eke out a narrow win.
